Bogdan Danila is the Group Exectuive Chef for D&D Restaurant Group London in charge of Queensyard in Hudson Yards and Bluebird in Columbus Circle in New York City. Leads kitchen teams of 70 staff and overseeing all culinary operations for Queensyard and Bluebird.

Danila Bogdan, who hails from Transylvania, is the chef behind the “Anglophilic fantasia” at Hudson Yards (The New Yorker’s phrase). He was nominated by Zagat as one of the top 30 chefs under 30 while at Gordon Ramsay’s Petrus and received a Michelin Star for his work at Jason Atherton’s The Clocktower in 2018, making him the first Romanian to receive the acclaim. He currently stands as the Group Executive Chef for D&D London (the parent company behind queensyard and Bluebird and 40 other eateries worldwide), where he presents a hearty British fare with influences from both sides of the Atlantic.

Chef Danial’s career to date includes professional experience and management roles within establishments in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the United States in a number of high profile fine dining and 1 & 2 Michelin star rated establishments. Further to this Danila has also received training at 3 Michelin Star restaurants in San Sebastian, Spain, Paris, France and in the United Kingdom.
Located in the New York EDITION Hotel, The Clocktower serves modern cuisine with a palpable U.K. sensibility. Whilst Chef Danila was leading the kitchen and providing collaboration, input and menu development in the Role of Chef De Cuisine, it was awarded a Michelin Star.
Pollen Street Social is a contemporary bistro offering deformalised fine dining in Mayfair. The flagship restaurant of renowned chef Jason Atherton. One Michelin Star was awarded to Pollen Street Social, London whilst Bogdan Danilla was leading the kitchen as part of the management team in the role of Sous Chef.
Petrus, the most notable of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants, is located in the heart of Knightsbridge and is considered the best restaurant in London. Known for it’s take on modern french cuisine, it was awarded one Michelin Star whilst Bogdan Danilla was leading the kitchen as Senior Sous Chef.
